What ammunition do I need to duck hunt?
The first thing you need to know when duck hunting is that you can not hunt with lead shot. You will also need to determine the shot size that you’ll be hunting with. 4, 5, and 6 shot will be best for hunting smaller ducks in a close range (15-40 yards) with an improved cylinder or modified choke. BB, 1, 2, and 3 shot will be best for hunting larger ducks or smaller geese (15-40 yards). BB, BBB, and T shot will be best for hunting larger geese.
